i think ive been playing to much baldurs gate.... every time i see the words ST-IK, my brain tries to read it as Istik. Lae'zel in my head everytime i read that. LOL
I don't see any reason why it couldn't be. I can't recall if there's any implications of Calbex's former squire being human, but the story implies that the squire died in some sort of traumatic incident involving the Aegis and the link between them and Calbex (ergo why he was so adamant about not linking with Corwan in combat), so presumably Corwan is the only human it could be.
My assumption about the story is that while it is about Corwan and his time as a squire alongside his pack, the ultimate plot of the story centers around the interactions and connection between Corwan and Calbex, hence only those two being on the title screen. Corwan seems to be developing a bit of a friends-with-benefits situation with his pack squires, while with Calbex it is a much deeper emotional story
Whoever did the character design for Calbex, kudos. His fur pattern, the colors, the scars, his cybernetics, they're all so well thought out and it shows. That's one handsome Wolfman 😍 😉 👍. The Corwan reveal was shocking, and anyone that didn't see that coming, c'mon seriously?! You think they would bother with a 5'10" 180lbs normal human‽ Fuck no!¡! It does make me wonder though. If Corwan is that much of a roid-monkey, how big is Calbex? Like 8-9ft tall‽¿¡? Then, how big is Brute, or ffs, Fen must be a giant and, dear god how big is knight Tobbs then!? That bears belly alone could have 3 normal humans sleep on top of it comfortably 😴🤣. Though, I gotta give a nod 🙂↕️ as it seems as if he's supposed to have the longest hair of the bunch and that's plus in my book.
The height chart on patreon shows Brut and Eryx being 5'11 while Corwan is 6'0, 6'1. Alex is 6'3 or 6'4 and Xaria I think is 6'7. If that height chart is official, Corwan certainly is not the common human mc where everybody around him is a giant canine or feline. Yes, Calbex is 8ft tall,, Fen and Tobbs are taller, and the Dragon is 9ft. But there are also characters smaller than Corwan like Jeaz being a little over 5 feet tall. Brut and Eryz are about his height and Alex and Xaria are taller, but not too much. I like that the human mc is not the size of a baby compared to everyone, but his muscular look did suprise me some since the story seemed to make him be this small weak human trying to keep up with the bigger and stronger anthros. Though maybe Brut and Eryx are stronger than Corwan, despite barely being the same height as him.
when they first described the alien antagonists (i forgot what theyre called tbh) and their uncanny abilities, i thought we were about to fight cosmic horrors, but nah, theyre just funny looking aliens. still love this tho
There is a bill in congress right now that would make it illegal for any financial service provider to directly or indirectly prohibit or inhibit any legal transaction. It's called the Fair Access to Banking Act. H.R.987 in the House, S.401 in the Senate. Call your Representatives. Get it passed.
It's sad it requires a bill for congress to force credit card companies and other financial institutions to not discriminate. Still not as bad as Canada, at least they didn't freeze your accounts for donating to a peaceful protest even though you're 2000mi away sitting on your couch, or lying in bed 🤬 🤬 🤬. I hope the levy huge fines against them, like unprecedentedly high dollar amount.
